Which Met. station has or had raising ramps worked off the air main - Ricky? The only reason for asking that an old mate of mine (ex-Westinghouse) was relating the story in the pub this evening of when a poor AET thought he'd isolated the right bit to work on a trainstop, but he'd isolated the main too soon in the run and the ramps rose up underneath (and damaging) a rather expensive golfer's ?Bentley.

I am talking of possibly several decades ago - was just wondering which of the stations up that way fed the car park off the air main.

I would guess that most of the car parks with ramps had them powered by the air main - they way I had it explained was that car parks were part of the duties that made Power Signal Linemen into AETs.
