I was sorting through my ticket collection when i chanced apon a steam on the met ticket from 2000 which brought back memories of the slam door trains and steamers that ran it but is there any chance they could do it again or can't they be botherd any more?

Not in their commercial interests was the official reason why SOTM 2000 was the last...
I was there too, taking photos of the Cravens Tube Stock and Jub96ts in Ricky Sdgs!

I was at the 1999 event, and got a cab ride in No12 from Amersham to Harrow on the Hill, which left a lasting intrest in the Met. The only other cab ride I have had on the tube, was the same year on the Northern, from Edgware to Moorgate, in a 59ts, which to say the least, was highly intresting.

They were mentioning the possibility of Sarah running public runs in the summer (my guess is probably on the Chesham).
