If it was only a few weeks ago, and it has so far lasted all these years, I dare say it is still there. Though now it has been made public, who knows for how long.... ;D

I do wonder though - who is doing the refurbishment of Finchley Road?
If its Tube Lines, the sign may very well stay. But if it's Metronet, they may choose to replace all signage with modern equivalents - I think they've done this at most of the stations they've refurbished.

I believe it's a Tubelines station.

Are those hutchinson-esque platform diagrams still there for the met? They have a few details from times past!

No - they were removed early on in the works. I hope that this is temporary, but I rather suspect not. Incidentally, there were two of them, and they had slightly different designs. One was very angular, whilst the other favoured slight curves and arrow head passing through rings (if you know what I mean). Both had been patched many years ago to remove stations at which non-stopping has been discontinued (Rayners Lane, West Harrow, and Harrow-on-the-Hill, if I recall correctly).

Tube Lines have removed the panelling to the underside of the Finchley Road platform canopies exposing the timber decking. I see that primary steel joists span over the Jubilee tracks which is an unusally long span. With slender stanchions holding the up the canopy it looks like a gust of wind could blow them over. On curved platforms too. Wonderful in my opinion.

Cheers for that abe. Interestingly, one of the signs had been patched to show trains non stopping North Harrow. Is this in response to a time when all trains stopped at north Harrow (why why why? ) or simply a diagramatic error? Also, where would the signs be now?

North Harrow (Reply # 9)
Don't all trains on the Local line now stop at North Harrow ?
