I was trawling through old threads and came across my "Signalman Amenities" thread, describing the placid and plush atmosphere of Baker Street SCC, along with the lovely upholstered furniture enjoyed by citysig and Harsig 
While reading it, I came across a strange post asking about a "charity tuck-shop" at Aldgate. What is (or was) the charity tuck-shop, and what relation did it have to the old signalbox there?
