Hello,
i read the "The London Underground - a diagrammatic history"
who is today the area of the former "Farringdon Street" station (used from 1863 until 1865)
and who is today the area of the former "Liverpool Street" station (used from 1-2-1875 until 11-7-1875)

The stations got moved a bit when they were rebuilt. I think the sites of the old stations are just tunnel now.

i think Liverpool Street was actually in the mainline station, on the surface, before "phase 2" of Moorgate-Aldgate was opened.
