Travelling north through Harrow OTH platform 4 on an Uxbridge train at exactly 16.00 today, I saw an old Chiltern railways 3 car DMU in green livery pass slowly through northbound on Platform 1. At the same time what appeared to be a 4 car A60 train went south through platform 2, but my view was obscured by an Amersham train in platform 3. Would this have been a Chesham shuttle going to Neasden depot?

I am surprised to hear that the A60 Sandite train was in platform 2 - was it only treating the current rails, or was it blasting Sandite too?

The Sandite A60 is scheduled to reverse in platform 2 at times like that for a trouble-free transfer from the SB main to the NB main. It doesn't treat the current rails with anything.
