How much of the "original" Wembley Park station will be remaining after Tube Lines gets finished with it? I went through it a few days ago and most of the original Holdenesque platform buildings, along with the Met-style veranda ticket hall, appeared to be intact and in use. I figured that the whole thing was to be flattened and rebuilt, but is that not the case?

Without being too cynical, i'd imagine the privateers will only do the minimum amount of work required, otherwise the shareholders might not be too impressed.

The trick of the privateers is to get it listed, isn't it? Then you can't alter much so you save cash AND keep the traditionalists happy. Neat eh?

I thought the main building was listed and that's why the majority of it would be kept...
