So now we have London Overground and the Overground Network will this be slightly confusing to some passengers? Especially at Richmond station where they have Overground Network branding and of course the London Overground. I wonder if eventually the sign outside the station will have BR, LO, ON and LU slogans/roundels To most people I don't think the Overground Network branding means a lot anyway. I think they should scarp it to avoid confusion.

That Overground Network appeared to have died quietly; or at least, thats what I thought! There does not appear to be anything special about it...

I think the service has definitely improved a lot already, but it's not going to be up to TfL standards straight away. New trains and more frequent services take some time to be introduced.

Well apart from stations in South London having Overground Network Signs outside them (well I think) there doesn't seem to be much info about the system. Apart from this on Wiki en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overground_Network ;D Quote wiki "The website for it was shut down in February 2007." It seems as though the instillation of the ON signs outside stations has been a total waste of money on TFL's part

The Overground Network is no more. I suspect TfL will force the TOCs to remove them or some sort of sillyness like that!
Yes it does seem like money well spent!
As to the current service on LO. You do have the same front line staff, assets and timetables. It will take a while for the new firm to "make their mark"!

So far at Bushey station I see a lot of white paint on the walls and posters but other than that, no real improvement. The ticket office is now always "Position Closed" before 6pm on weekdays, when I used to be able to talk to someone until at least 8pm.

The Overground Network is no more. I suspect TfL will force the TOCs to remove them or some sort of sillyness like that! Unbelievably not, it would seem. Apparently, whilst TfL paid for the installation of the ON signage, it will not pay for their removal and is waiting for the TOCs involved to do the job for it in time. Given the spread in colloquial use of the word "overground" ("or overland") to signify National Rail services, TfL needs to take a more proactive line to protect its new brand and this, surely, involves getting rid of the ON signs, even if this means spending a few quid to do it.
