Its affected the Hawley Arms, a pub on the corner of Chalk Farm Road and Castlehaven Road.
The market shops which are next to the Canal [Hawley Lock] may be affected. The viaduct which takes the North London Line over the roads mentioned, is badly scorched; thus services between Camden ROAD and Gospel Oak are suspended.
It's bad, because thats one area I love to visit.
Excepting the drug peddling vermin who abound the main road from Camden Town to the NLL bridge, of course!

Kentish Town West was only burnt down a few years ago...
I wonder if TfL/Camden Council will find this an opportunity to redevelop Camden Town Station.

Its north of Camden Town station, centred on the strip of market stalls on the north side of the canal, so if any station benefits from this it will most likely be Camden Road. Particularly as some of the reports say that its moving towards Kentish Town.

There is a gentle southerly wind, so it would move towards Kentish Town but if the fire misses those dangerous materials it should be controllable.

Is this fire is affecting the Bakerloo line?
BAKERLOO LINE: Severe delays are occurring between Queens Park and Harrow and Wealdstone due to a lineside fire in the Kentish Town West area.

Is this fire is affecting the Bakerloo line? BAKERLOO LINE: Severe delays are occurring between Queens Park and Harrow and Wealdstone due to a lineside fire in the Kentish Town West area. Message received 9:01pm The Bakerloo Line uses the same track as the Overground north of Queen's Park. If there was blocking back on the Overground line because of the fire it'll affect the Bakerloo.

There was a mention on the BBC report that the fire had crossed over the railway bridge on the "Silverlink" (sic) line. Possibly that would have been the reason for the initial message re Bakerloo with the signal failure compounding the problem.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only person suspicious of the convenience of the fire.

Overground is suspended except the north of Willesden Junction on the Euston-Watford line, and the GOBLIN. Presumably the West London Line and the NLL west of Willesden and east of Highbury and Islington is due to the power being out and thus trains and crews being in the wrong places?

I've just been watching the footage of this while slurping my morning coffee, and it looks savage! The Hawley has gone too! (For those not in the know, you can almost always catch someone famous in there)
A great deal of my record collection has been purchased from that area, and I've spent many a long hour just walking around the shops and market during my time.
Shocking! But the good news is that there are no reported casualties, which given the pictures, is a miracle in itself!

I'm watching... If you go down to the Hawley Lock itself, theres lots of little quaint stalls there; and I have bought many things down there too.
It does seem strange that the area was due for renewal... very strange indeed... TBH, I detest whats been done to the actual markst, and the further revelopment goin on at the Chalk Farm, end, oldy woldy shops built into the viaduct, ripped out, to be replaced with these horrid, glass fronted square things, which do not fit in, or do anything to give the market it's vibe.
I have my suspicions about this...

I never frequented that watering hole. I always just walk straight past.
At the time of the revelopment of the Horse Stables, thats the north end towards Chalk Farm, and Morrisions supermarket, a lot of the long established stall holders, were complaining, they were given under a month notice to quit, most were told they would be given alternative accomodation elsewhere in the market; but at a highly inflated price. It does surprise me though, that there is hardly ever a stall which is not occupied.
It appears that the Catacombs are now being used for additional stalls. They've put these huge copper statues of Horses RIGHT in the way of where I need to go; theres always a gaggle of people having their picture taken beside it... I had a nosey at the new development, looks like something straight out of a Jon Wayne film set...
It appears North London Line services have been passed to run, as according to nationalrail.co.uk, there are no service updates.

It doesn't look too bad, but who knows what the other three sides look like. The early reports suggest that the fire started in an alley to the side and rear of the building, which could lead to extensive damage where we can't see.
The inspectors are going in later to examine the building and see if it is safe or not....

The fire went over/through the viaduct... this means the retail units on the canal side of the railway are likely to be affected in one way or another.
