On platform 7 King's Cross International this morning a Javelin train behind a Cl60 loco. When I came back into London tonight it had been moved to the Kent commuter platforms(10-13) and was the other end of the Cl60.

Might get to see them blur through my local station when they start testing here!
Nice to see them testing them around the network.

They have indeed been testing them already, late night early morning, they shove a 375 on the unit and run that to Headcorn, there, the 375 is detached and the Javelin makes a 100mph trip to Paddock Wood or Tonbridge, it then goes back to Headcorn under its own power, and hooks back up to the 375, which drags it back to Ashford...
Testing is going very well apparently, according to a SET friend...
I'm just wondering what the fares will be like for an Ashford - London trip on this... £45 cheap day return?

I meant testing them on the Faversham line, which is going to happen within the next 12 months I'm guessing. Especially seeing as how they are going to be affecting Sittingbourne station! Ive been told basic SET + 30% "premium" Does anyone know what happens to the cones when they couple together? Especially seeing as they are talking about spilting them IN service at Faversham?

The cones retract in a similar fashion to the Eurostars... It exposes a Coupling, though I don't know if it is a Dellner or any other... So fares wise, a CDR will be about £25. Not bad!!! I'll use it when I travel back from Kent after seeing family! Hate going via Teynham and all that...just because it takes so damn long, especially if I have to get the 08.18 ex Cant'bury East on a M-F...

See the problem for me is I live in Teynham at the moment! The quickest way normally is to go away from London and try and hop on an express at Faversham! Ive not seen a Eurostar coupled before, has anyone got a link?

Eurostars can be coupled to a Match Wagon, which has a standard Buckeye coupler, with an adaptor that can by hinged down over that buckeye, which links into the Eurostar coupler... Will try to find a piccy...

Sure, I'll have a root about for one of the match wagons showing the adaptor coupler!
