Yes I saw this map a few months ago in a magazine article, I wonder how many of the new lines on the map will come to fruition!! No doubt the olympics will give a boost to some of the lines being planned at present. ;D

Probably the stuff in the south east area, because of the olympics. I see it says: "Stratford International for the Olympics"

The date in the top right hand corner is 2016 - so the Olympics will have been & gone. Interesting to note that apart from the changes to the East London line and the Met extension to Watford - there are no changes to any SSL lines

Meh, the cynic in me says that any non-Olympic projects not already underway will get buried in bureaucracy and will not be started before 2020 at the very earliest! (Crossrail is the exception: 2050).
Edit: Just realised, the thread title implies there's a reward out for the map, dead or alive! ;D

This map is already out of date. The Richmond branch of Crossrail was dropped some time ago. Sadly, there is no sign of the Line that London really needs (in particular the Victoria Line sardines) - Chelney/Crossrail Line 2.

the east side map is also full of guided busway projects, which shouldn't really be on there, but are to make it look like something's happening!

See there is no extension to the jubilee from Stratford to Tottenham Hale, along the Lee valley route. Bring back Lea Bridge station!!!!!!!!!!!

If the ELL is becoming part of London Rail or whatever it's going to be called, it would appear that if there's some interesting junction-work put in around Clapham Junction, Willesden Junction and Caledonian Road & Barnsbury you could make an outer circle with "proper trains" it'd probably be rubbish though. edit: also what's this cross river transit thing, calling at everyone's favourite pipedream stop Aldwych, and terminating at Camden Town. Where the hell are you going to put a terminus for anything at Camden? You'd either have to dig deep for that or flatten some of the surrounding area [although some might say that's not a bad thing]

The transit routes are 'guided bus' routes.

The transit routes are 'guided bus' routes. ..which, IMO, are a complete waste of time and money. However, I am basing this solely on the mess made of this guided bus project.

I thought CRT was going to be a tram, not a busway, so slightly better. Of course, a tube line would be better, though it would need somewhere to go in the north and the south would need changing into extensions of the Bakerloo and Northern, as well as this line. as for WLT, that'll be passed through, even with this opposition, just like the Kengestion change extension. Ealing's transport budget will very likely be rather small next year unless they have another vote and get the "correct" answer (Barnet had this for removing speed humps on main roads, lowering rat running and congestion, while not really affecting accidents) Ken enjoyed his trip to China - showed him how many legacy projects he can do by ignoring the people like a true red.

Cross River Transit, and West London Trams will be a tram (if they actually get built). The other "transits" will be guided bus routes. Guided buses do have there place on frequent, fast(ish), but relatively low capacity routes. I hope from that an environmental reason they will be trolley buses, but I'm not sure about that.
