I can remember at Roding Valley with my dad seeing the new indicator boards appearing and thinking how amazing they were... Now on the rare occasion when they aren't working I feel totally lost.
It's strange how you clearly remember certain thing's only. I can always remember coming back from the London Marathon stopping just before Leyton in the 1962 stock. But that's my only memory of them.

the touble with dot matrix is it made me curious about a wholeloadof things with the tube so i decided to get a job there to partly learn things but then it just made me more curious about more things!!!

So back in the 1990s they depicted the East London Line was going to get up and walk out (3:09) and sure enough a couple of decades later it's just about to do it for real ;D

Hehe what a joke, so in 1990 over 100 stations featured dot matrix indicators, out of 253 owned (today). So 17 years since two fifths of LUL stations had dot matrix indicators fitted... my local station still doesn't have them, and to add to that it usually has no staff to be found! Progress!!!!!
