London Underground is fully wheelchair accessible... if you've got one of these: Although it might be a bit of a problem on escalators, down some of the narrower passageways, and getting through the ticket gates. Not to mention the dirty looks you'd probably get trying to get on the Central at 5pm on a Friday. See: www.tankchair.com

Question being, could you get the thing insured??? And what class of vehicle would it come under?

It looks like a miniature jcb to me!!!. Remember the irn bru advert a couple of years ago, when a granny on a buggy went shoplifting in a supermarket. Class!!!!! ;D

Question being, could you get the thing insured??? And what class of vehicle would it come under? Dunno about the insurance, but as for licence, if anything it's a "track-laying vehicle steered by it tracks", Category "H" driving licence although it probably falls below any weight specification.
