Before I ask the question, can I just make it clear that the admins do not condone the practice of blocking adverts on this forum - it's the ads that keep it free 
Right, I've had to recover my hard drive (ie, re-boot the PC from scratch) owing to a nasty virus..............and I'm now on the latest version of Firefox - version 2.0.0.6. The ad blocking software that comes with Firefox doesn't actually work with this version
So the question is, is there anything else out there that might work instead?
