Whilst googling for something else, I came across the website for the Tehran metro. I was actually very surprised by the quality of the website (lots of photos, virtual panoramas, and technical info). I was also surprised by the frequency of trains (up to every 2mins), and the length of trains (137m - 7 cars). The site is here www.tehranmetro.com/about/index.asp
