Just to let you know about an interactive metro map - pMetro. With this program, you can easily calculate journey times in over 50 metro systems of the world, whose maps are already included.

Full version (~2 megabytes, all maps included) can be downloaded here: www.ms-trade.ru/Boris/pMetro/pMetroSetup.exe. I suggest full install (default choice). To switch interface to English, press Ctrl+O, highlight second item in the treeview on the left, select "English" from the dropdown listbox and press "Ok". Afterwards, you can select a system of your choice, etc. etc.
