On 10.09.2005, a new station named "Delovoy Centr" ("Business Centre") has been opened. The first service train departed from "Kievskaya" (with yours truly on board at 13:44. Photos will be later - watch this space.

Very nice pictures of what seems to be a very nice station!
Can you tells us some more details about the station? Where and why was i built, expected passenger loadings, how long did the building take, things like that.

Can you tells us some more details about the station? The first deep station built by cut and cover method. The station that was lengthened after been built (the original plan envisaged 90 m station) which made platforms to curve slightly at the end. The station is placed not far from the Moscow river beach, in the basement of the future business centre (hence the station name). The main intention was, of course, to serve the said business centre (the typical office skyscraper with incredibly high rental price, I think ). There is an exhibition hall nearby - I've never been there, but the common opinion is that a new station is going to be of use. Don't know exact figure... it depends upon how well will the business centre develop. Again, don't know exact figure ... and, due to the overall muddle with financing, building tends to take ridiculously long time (recalls 2-mile stretch to the "Victory Park" being under construction for 18 years). Currently, the new branch gets 4 tph, so disruption of the service on the 'main' line is minimal . BTW new tunnel has been connected to the existing one just west of the 'Kievskaya' station without interrupting the service.
