My wish is that I will be promoted to station supervisor. Let's hope it will become a reality.
Best wishes to everybody.

Happy new year to all! And i echo Biolizards wish!! (Good luck to ya mate!)
Had no sleep last night, but somehow managed to end up watching "The Tube" at 6 am round a friends house! (thrilled as the rest of the party was, by that time no one could be bothered to find the remote, let alone walk to the tv to change channel!)

Oh no, they have not gone and changed the year again have they? Why is it that people cannot leave things alone? As soon as I get used to the fact that it is a particular year, they start messing around with it.
Still, I suppose it is not so bad as what they did a while back. I was just getting round to accepting that it was the 20th Century, and they went and altered that...

Hope you all had a better start than I did! Went out to the car and found my son had left it with a punctured NSR tyre (self-tappers don't BELONG there!!). Only flat at the bottom though And when I came back home I found the strong gales had detached the TV aerial from the Chimney pot........ So, what's 3rd then...??

Happy new year to everyone As normal, I had gone to bed by ten pm, to catch up on some sleep. My wife was at work. On the stroke of midnight, my son and I were woken up by ear-shattering banging fireworks, which went on until about 0230. He was absolutely terrified, and it took me until about three am to get him off to sleep. His twin sister, who being at the back of the house, had slept through it all, woke up at six am as normal. Joy!

Hate to be a spoilsport, but that whiteboard will fail station presentation standards, as laid out by the CSDS [Customer service delivery standards] ;D I did something similar, and was berated by a DSM! Jobsworth! 3 rings round their cap and they think they can do anything!

Some guy was busily writing on a whiteboard "There is a good service on all London Underground lines" the other day. Meanwhile, the PA blurted out "your next District train will be in 17 minutes".

Handy when station staff just happen to leave the whiteboard pen pack stuck on the board with a bit of Blu-Tack!!! tempting, isn't it? ;D ;D ;D

My new year resolution is to see a physio.
