I was curious why my 2mph thread on the Central Line sub-forum was the 2nd thread down despite the fact the last reply was on the 5th November!
I guessed what happened and tryed it out on the District sub-forum. Reply, then delete. Unfortunately, the forum doesn't send the concerned thread back to chronological order i.e. the graveyard!

Correct! That's one way of spotting the smart*rses who deliberately bump a thread this way . But in this case there was definitely a (relevant) post under the current bottom one yesterday. Why it was removed I've no idea. If it were important Solidbond could look at the security log, but in this case there's no point: someone's just changed their mind.

I can answer this!!!!
I posted a post at the bottom of the thread, suggesting that the reason for losing power may be that the T/Op had released the ATO start buttons too quickly - if you don't hold them in for more than 2 seconds the train stops!
I posted this, then re-read the thread, and decided that my post was probably wrong - so I deleted it. The thread stayed at the top, just without my post.
Sorry!!!

Apologies not needed, but it explains the effect.
Don't worry, we've all pushed the wrong button or changed our mind at some time or other!
