Have fun with telemarketers but do NOT use any of the many pranks that you hear on the internet or on the radio. These recordings circulate in the call centres and the people who work there are well aware of them. Also be warned that calls will be recorded and there are different laws this side of the Atlantic, so do not get carried away and say something that could land you in trouble.
Do what I do, write your own original scripts, go completely over the top (without breaking the law) and you will have the most amazing fun with these people.
There can sometimes be an added bonus to this. I played a series of stunts on cold-callers for a while and, as I did, the calls got less and less until they finally stopped altogether.
