hi guys wonder if any of ya could help me out here i am going to london this weekend i have never seen in a cab of lul stock was wondering if it is possible for driver to let you in to see the cab or have a picture taking of a cab at the end of the line any of you lads shine a light on this subject or tell me were best to go to get a look in a cab, regards, ross

Ask very nicely at a terminus - but bear in mind most drivers will probably be a little concerned at a complete stranger asking to look in their cab. If they so no, please don't take offence - take it the chin and try your luck with someone else.
Ultimately, an un-authorised person in the cab of a train can get the driver into serious trouble - please bear this in mind also.

cheers colin i am no wanting in the cab at all even if the driver took a picture would be happy at that so i would i understand tah tdue to the current security etc they are stepping up on stuff but no harm in asking

To get in train cabs up here I asked very politely, I haven't been rejected yet. Some times I was even invited into the cab by drivers, and when driving away they always gave me a wave!
It will be harder on LU though, because of the situations that have occured.
