'Under London Ground', is a television documentary about ghosts on the London Underground. Starring one of our very own forum members (I'm not saying who!); I'm sure many of us will find it interesting.
Broadcast Details
Channel 5
Tuesday, 31st October 2006
2300[/color]

I accompanied the film crew for some of that documentary back when I was a DMT. I wondered what happened to it! It was around two years ago that they did the filming.

They filmed at my old station and filmed a good friend of mine. Can't wait to see how they edit the 'goings on' that occurred that night.

We'll find out in 4 minutes (providing it isn't someone who has an account that they don't use and only you know who they are )

The last guy confused me with the footsteps in the ballast. Didn't think ballast was used in tunnel?

Didn't think ballast was used in tunnel? Gravel ballast is used as an infill between the sleepers to allow a walking surface. It's not the usual limestone ballast used on surface sections.

That night my maternal Garndfather, George Baker, who was a Foreman Ganger on the Underground, Great War veteran and post-war in the Army in Ireland, was sent with his crew tas they sually did when there was bomb damage. The sights so sickened and affected him that when he went home to Hounlsow West, he sat down and told his wife and my mother (then in school in Hammersmith) that he had had enough. He just could not do the job anymore and immediately jacked his job in.
RIP.

Can someone find me a picture of that Bruno Hauptmann photo?
I also knew who the staff member was, and I haven't even seen him.

I fell asleep half way through the programme . boring and predictable, they could have had a proper medium down there instead of that I'm breaking the rules with a naughty word with his laptop

I think that most forum members - except TRC666 - managed to work out that I contributed to this programme. PMs and emails to me suggest that the short version of the story raises more questions than it answers. As I do not wish to post further details on a public forum, I have decided that I will make the full story available only to forum members. If you want to receive a copy together with a close-up of the figure, technical notes on the photo and comments from the expert who examined it, please send me a PM.
