Whats your claim to fame? Mine is: Met the Chuckle Brothers Just joined a live webcast and had Cerys Matthews (who is she?) answer my question: Luke:Hi Cerys, how did you cope with the bugs in the Nashville hut? Cerys Matthews: The bugs are massive and loud plus two big spiders! Chiggers are the worst though - they climb up your leg and dig into your leg where you sweat most. They stay in your skin for weeks and really itch! The insects curtailed my enthusiasm somewhat! My dads: He's played with paul McCartneys ex-band Wings He's met John Lennons sister He knows the Cavern club owner, we went on holiday with him. He supported McFly at an outdoor gig. So yeah, his is a bit better than mine. Dave you cannot use your DVD fame

Been interviewed for BBC Wales (I was one of the people from the queue to see the newly found medieaval ship in Newport that they interviewed). [I've never seen the interview though!]
I was in the background of the Royal Ascot edition of Back To The Floor
I was one of the organisers of the first ever gig that Reef played at
I've had a drink with Phil Harding in his local in Salisbury
I was a runner up in the competition to create a new Poddington Pea (I was about 10!) - my entry was Snap-pea the photographer (now why doesn't that suprise you? ;-))
I've also got several other minor ones, but I can't think of them atm.
Chris
ps: Admins - would this be better in the Survey's section?

Performed and recorded with the Royal Philarmonic Orchestra (with my music academy's youth choir) at Phoenix Studios (now no longer in existence, having been knocked down to make way for that Wembley Stadium) for the 'Newham Symphony' (basically, anthems for Newham...), which was released into the classical charts at some point years ago.
Performed on Songs of Praise Choir of the Year 2006 Finals, recorded at BBC Manchester. In the first part of the finals, you can clearly see a Jubilee Line 7th car project badge on my collar, glinting in the venue lighting. I also called Aled Jones 'useless' because he couldn't read off an autocue. (Well, he can't. Seriously. Then he laughs and jokes about it when about 1200 other students of various ages are left standing around on stage for about the ninth take.)
My old college's gospel choir and my brother's school gospel choir have performed for various members of the London Assembley and their events, for people like the Blairs, Ken Livingstone, Patrick Stewart and other random guests. My brother's school choir however is more successful in terms of concerts and performances and have performed at a West Ham match (though they got booed off by the fans) and they performed at the opening night of last year's carol services at St. Martin-in-the-Fields.
I attended of Coldplay's first ever gigs at The Camden Falcon, the gig after which their run up to fame happened. One of my cousins went to UCL with them and I consequently got to know them through her before they got famous and up till after their success with 'A Rush of Blood to the Head'. Don't really stay in touch with them anymore, as I was about 10-11 when I did get to hang out with them and since they're very much in super-high demand after the success of 'X&Y', though my cousin is still mates with the chaps and they sometimes ask how I am doing. They're lovely.
I gave Ken Livingstone the finger when I spotted him on the Jubilee Line years ago. It's not something I'm proud of, but given the youth culture today, I was compelled to do it.
My mum works as a chef's assistant in a staff canteen/restaurant at a publishing house in Central London that houses several top book publishers. Consequently, I've met many famous folk there whilst waiting tables in my short employment there, either in the restaurant itself or during book signings. Names include; Westlife, Ronan Keating, Rolf Harris (who stops by once every couple of years) and some other people I forget, because I'm too busy carting plates around. Bob Geldof stops by ocassionally. I'm yet to find out why, as there's been no talk in the offices as to whether he's releasing a book or what, so maybe he just visits or something.
Other minor things, but the ones I've mentioned are probably the main ones.

I got to ask a question on BBC Question Time once, so I've been on the telly. That's about it.

My photo has appeared in the Doncaster Free Press on exam results days a couple of times. Oddly enough, it didn't go to my head...
