Nope, niether of those - but I have been using the explorer 7 beta for a while now. I do like the tabbed browsing they've introduced with it.

Been around for a while tho - Firefox and Opera have had it for a good while, not sure about Safari on the Mac. There have been different browsers released for the PC (CrazyBrowser comes to mind) that have had tabs and use Internet Explorer as their "engine", (think of it as a different interface for the same browser) but it's good that MS have finally caught up. Vista is quite different to XP (not at all like the difference between 2000 Pro and XP), takes some getting used to. I'm a partial insomniac and have rubbishy sleeping patterns anyway; what's your excuse for being up this late/early!?

My Business Studies lecturer was running it on the laptop he used to give presentations.
If Vista were a member of the university it would have been marched from the lecture theatre by the Proctors by about the second lecture for gross disturbance.

Introduced = nicked from all the other browsers who introduced it first in a desperate attempt to make people stick with MSIE. , not sure about Safari on the Mac. Yep, it's included in recent versions I've used.

It's very obviously beta - there's lots of little bugs and flaws I wouldn't like to see in a final edition. There are actually viruses available for OS X, so it's not entirely virus-free.

Office 2007 is rather slow on my aging machine. But it is a vast improvement asthetically. IE7 breaks my outlook web access that i have from work. I've mentioned this to my colleagues but we think it will be fixed in the next release - And it is slow as the proverbial Vista - my computer will not run it

Vista is not compatable with all computers. Before even attempting to purchase/download this, look carefully at the system requirements, otherwise you might just damage your system.

The system requirements for Vista are pretty harsh, even some computers on sale now won't run it. As ever, microsoft design a new product as inefficient as possible!

Ok, a slight fib, Millenium Edition was rubbish (but it still worked) - all this talk of unstable systems and Microsoft being totally rubbish....well it can't be that bad surely - every major computer shop sells computers with windows & most business's use windows. Microsoft is the biggest player in the game - not bad for a company that's rubbish....
