It is 'International Underground' with shorter trains, a third rail system and a distinct lack of passengers. They obviously have a long way to go yet. |

I thought it was a picture of John Major Well, we're both Conservatives. Although I confess....when Mrs Margaret Thatcher II (there were of course two) was appointed leader of the Tory Party in succession to 'Grocer' Heath, I sat on a 59TS train at Hounslow West heading for Piccadilly Circus where I worked in 1974? and said to my brother that the end of the world had come and that we might even have a woman PM one day. |
