I would just like to make all gentlemen on this forum, aware on the threat of Cancer not only in the Breast which some don't believe they can get, but can and Prostate Cancer. I wish to inform all on here, that Asda's have lapel badges on sale at the checkouts for £1 each and 70p from each one goes to the Everyman Campaign and Prostate Cancer. Needless to say, I never hesitated in buying one and pinning it on my jacket I wear the most.
Please do not think I am being rude in any way, but the little packets are blue top, white base and titled 'LOOK AFTER YOUR BALLS' and each badge in the shape of a different sports ball. I believe there are five in total and can remember not only Rugby which I got, but also, football, tennis, golf, and I believe the other is that of a Basketball.
PLEASE support this campaign. Thank you.

The problem is of course Men get very embarrassed going to the Doctor, especially anything to do with their private parts. Thanks for posting this dave, it is of immense importance but is rarely reported or even worse, trivialised. If you do have something wrong with you GO to the doctor, its what they are there for. Mate of mine went to an std clinic recently, and naturally was very embarrassed, but it made him better. No pain no gain. ;D

November 2002 got a leaflet from LUOH about Prostate Cancer. Certainly made me more aware...
I'll pick up a badge or two on my next shopping trip...

I think this should go to General Questions+Comments ---
"Although T/ops and SAs can also get cancer..."

"Look after your balls" indeed.
I think I read somewhere that prostate and testicular cancer kill more people than breast cancer does. I think one reason this happens is because breast cancer is known about by people. Prostate and testicular cancer have not recieved much publicity to make people aware about it. That's why this campaign sounds like a good idea.
I'll also echo what tubeboy said in his post, that you must see a doctor if you think there is anything wrong. Many cancers can be treated if they are discovered early enough. If you put off going to see a doctor because you might feel a bit embarrassed, you could be narrowing your chances if something is wrong.
