How would I get from KXSP to King's Cross national rail station?
(Or is it just a case of walking through the station, like it is with Paddington and Waterloo etc ? )

(Or is it just a case of walking through the station, like it is with Paddington and Waterloo etc ? ) Yes, follow the signs. (It depends at which LU station you're arriving.)

I'm arriving at King's Cross St. Pancras, heading for King's Cross NR.
Just a case of following the signs for KX NR ?

The details depend on which line you arrive on, but you just follow the signs to the mainline station.

I'm arriving at King's Cross St. Pancras, heading for King's Cross NR. But there are two LU stations at KXSP, there's the tube lines, (Piccadilly, Northern and Victoria) and the Met (Met, H&C and Circle). That's the easiest thing to do. ;D

Thats confusing the matter for him I disagree, it alerts him to the fact that it is a complicated area and care is needed. Regardless of where you arrive from, you follow signs for KX National Rail. May I refer the honourable gentleman to the rest of my post? ;D Just a case of following the signs for KX NR ? That's the easiest thing to do. ;D

Talk about making mountains out of mole hills. Bearing in mind the fact that one of the answers to this question came from a forum member in Sydney, Australia - and considering the fact that Sydney has a (disreputable) area known as Kings Cross - I shudder to think what instructions poor Joe is following or where he will end up!
