You may remember I was enquiring a while ago about converting WMA files to MP3. That was while I was using AOL Music to legally download WMA files. However these won't work in my MP3 player, and to work on my PC, I have to remain a member of AOLs music club, which I can't afford!
So as well as using Napster (for which I can get top-up vouchers from my local post office), I was trying to get my Kazaa Lite working. However for some reason now it says "Couldn't load library topsearch.dll". I'm not sure if one of the legal music club browsers has deleted it, or if it's just been moved or something, but does anyone have the said .dll file they could email me please?
Note: I am not promoting the use of p2p illegal music downloading here; I simply would like the dll file!

i found a lot of problems withkazza, so got rid of it pronto ,i use limewire pro for single tracks and mirc for albums, have 12 gigs worth of music on my hard drive , none of it cost me a penny
p2p music is not illegal whatsoever , there is nowt wrong with uploading anything from someone elses pc, its the copying and selling on of it that is illegal

LIMEWIRE? ?? Ye gods, just be careful It was limewire (used by my son) that introduced not only piles of spyware but adware (aurora) that took over half a day and THREE cleanup programs to get rid of!!!!!! Lime wire is banned! (in the meantime he's using Soulseek with no problems so far)

HOWEVER, the illegal bit comes when people are sharing stuff via p2p which is copyrighted i.e. if they pull music from CDs and share that.

Legally you can only download / copy music if you already own it.
I use Azurus BitTorrent which is much faster, idea being you download a '.torrent' file which you find from google and most web sites have reviews of each one. You move this file into your client program and it downloads it - usually at high speeds if you choose one with a high amount of seeders (uploaders) and fewer leachers (downloaders).
