Some witty idea of a backroom jobsworth no doubt..  [That catenary wire needs attention too. It looks more like a washing line]

Oh I'm not criticising you or your photo's Chris. Just that 'orrible colour scheme. Tell me? Are the interiors made to look like the inside of an ice cream parlour? I think I'll christen it the 'Candy Floss Railway'

That interior is awful. Looks really camp. I don't like 'one'. Their name is confusing when being annonuced next to time of arrival and the colours are terrible.

I've traveled on one of them from Brentwood - Shenfield, then Shenfield - Chelmsford. The journey was rubbish due to 'techinal problems'....whatever they may be! Meant to be a 15-20 minute journey - actually took 50!! The interiors are awful looking - as Chris says, PINK! That says something about One's attitude to their customers - a delay without a reasonable reason (mind you - its what we've grown accustomed to) and (IMO) they're trying to drive customers away by painting their trains a rather nasty shade of pink! OK -  rant over! |

I've just spoken to my relative who works for one railway. He tells me a driver walked in to book on the other day and said to the boss [In a very lisping camp voice] 'Please Sir, has my nice new puce uniform arrived yet'?
EDIT; Apparently the crews of 'One' have dubbed the railway 'Toytown Trains'

And yet 'One' is reckoned by all the experts to have by far the best catering (full restaurants, times for meals etc) of alll the TOCs........

Apparently a passneger at Liverpool Street this evening on seeing the 'One' stripey livery asked the driver 'Are they putting the fairy lights on in time for Christmas too'?
