I had been trying to download bve for a couple of weeks, unsuccessfully. Last Friday I finally managed to get it loaded and installed, played around with it Saturday and over shot a few times Well Sunday the wife opens up the computer and nothing shows on the monitor. First thing she says "you must have downloaded a virus"....thats right my fault Well I checked things out and could just see the desk top, uninstalled my new toy, run a scan, and all was clean. turns out our flat screen samsung had bit the dust The real kicker is we had a 3 year warranty which started in Nov 2002.....it quit Dec 4 Good news is we went to buy a new monitor and came home with a whole new system Fast, tons of memory the new Pentium D chip 1.0GB memory and 300GB hard drive .....and it ain't a samsung P.S In case anyone gets the wrong idea BVE had nothing to do with the problems, that was just coincidence

I have just upgraded my PCs as well ;D My 'high spec' machine is now an Athlon 64 3700+, with 2GB RAM, at the moment it has 2x200GB and 1x 250GB HDD, a 256MB GeForce GS Extreme Graphics card and is running beautifully ;D ;D This has allowed me to upgrade my other machine to an Athlon XP 3200+, with a GeForce 5600 graphics card, 1GB RAM, 2x80GB HDD. In turn this will allow me to give my kids the other machine, which is an Athlon XP 2700+ with a GeForce Ti4600 Graphics. RAM and HDD to be determined, based on what I can take from the spares I have lying around ;D ;D
