Are there any particular rivalries between any of the lines?

Pretty much every line vs. every other line! Certainly District vs. Piccadilly.

And of course there is the friendly camaraderie between District and Circle/H&C men too. They do play follow-my-leader on a daily basis and I think they enjoy it as well.!?

Hmmm. District v Picc, District v H&C, District v Circle... Notice the common denominator here?! ;D
I'll throw Met v Jubilee into the arena as well just so it doesn't sound like the District are the main grumpy gits! Met v Jubilee is very similar to the District v Picc... Shared canteen facilities where we sit on the opposite sides and never speak! ;D

Of course there are real rivalries now with two different companies mis-running the tube system. I expect the next thing will be a return to the 1840's when one firm more or less declared war on another.

We (as H&C employees - officially) have to deal with all 3 of you, at once, and from all directions! But when it comes to dealing with the Jubilee, most of us don our old Met Line caps (it's a bigger railway you see, and some of them frighten easy ;D )

Times were, when even rostered Motormen and Conductors sat at separate tables in the canteens... Even today, a few Leytonstone men lunching at White City sit separate from those crews. It works both ways y'know...

It works both ways y'know... Same at Earls Court - Barking & Upminster drivers on one table, Earls Court & Acton Town drivers on another. It's rare that East end drivers will entertain a meaningful conversation with West end drivers. Daft really - but that's the way it is BTW - I had some good news today - I have moved up to 20th on the waiting list for Upminster depot - so at the current rate, i'll transfer in about 7 years ;D ;D

I have seen the transfer list for Golders. Am I missing something, or have the recent problems caused so many to decide to up sticks and apply for t/f?
