A select section of the posters on this forum sometimes mutters about them being of about the same age as the disonsaurs, and the new people coming to work on the railways are getting more and more wet behind the ears every year. Well, this post on a Swedish railway forum shows the latest intake of engineering equipment drivers starting out their stock familarisation course f15.parsimony.net/forum25608/messages/515432.htm... OK, I'm joking. It is actually a group of pre-schoolers who happened to walk by the station when the unit was sitting in the platform, ad got invited to an impromptu tour, including testing of the whistle, by the on-board staff. It is quit commmon for swedish pre-schoolers and very young schollkids to be issued with hi-vis vests when leaving the school yard, in order for them to be more visible. A very sensible idea, and a very cute picture! /Igelkotten
