How many trains start and finish in service from this platform nowadays and at what times? I seem to remember quite a few when I was a lot younger.

1 train stables in the platform overnight, but this comes from the Epping line, runs into no. 21 road and then into the platform. For stabling purposes, platform 1 is classed as a part of Woodford sidings. In the current timetable, no trains are booked to terminate at Woodford into platform 1. You are right that a few years ago, quite a few traina terminated at Woodford from the London direction. Nowadays, platform 1 is used to reverse trains that are running late.

Thanks Teach. In the old days (old for me that is) we always used to try and get on a 62TS from that platform. Always seemed to be a more "important" train due to that for some unaccountable reason!
