No, but had a fun day today on the Central Line. Epping>Leytonstone (Platform 2). Leytonstone (Platform 1) > Gants Hill.
Then again this evening on my return: Gants Hill > Leytonstone (Platform 3). Leytonstone (Platform 2)>Loughton. Loughton>Epping.
Was an interesting day. Saw some random destinations displayed at the Woodford sidings though. One said "Queensway" - maybe not random at all - but unusual for me to see!
Also another annoying part: the temporary passenger announcement at Gants Hill, explaining the closures today has been set on continuous loop. Literally, three seconds after it finishes it plays again.(No exaggeration!)

Is that all?? :S and that is enough to create a delays message... on a weekend? things are getting bad on the Central! There were minor delays on the Jubilee this morning when 6 trains were removed to allow the service a breather due to TSRs.

Is that all?? :S and that is enough to create a delays message... on a weekend? things are getting bad on the Central! I think the distribution of trains must have been skewed towards the east end of the line (remember no service Liverpool St - Leytonstone) as I've never seen so many trains in Loughton or Woodford sidings - I reckon there must have been nearly 10 in total. The delay message was applied to the entire line, even though it had no effect on the Leytonstone to Epping/Woodford via Hainault service.

All the trains stabled in their usual places on Saturday night. On the Central line, there has always been a skew of trains towards the east end, so this is normal. The Epping branch was only running a 15 minute shuttle to Leytonstone, so probably only needed 4 or 5 trains out of Woodford / Loughton, hence the reason why they were so full of trains.
The west end of the line was running a more frequent service through the central area, but with less trains to choose from, a lack of available trains would cause cancellations.

All the trains stabled in their usual places on Saturday night. This surprises me - as the west end service was obviously going to need more trains than the east end, why were some extra trains not stabled west of the closure? Presuming of course there is the capacity?

I suppose they thought that there would be enough trains - and changing the stabling places of trains means that crew rosters have to be revised, or get extra crews on nights to transfer trains.
Also, what happens on Sunday night? You would then have a load of trains in the wrong place for Monday morning!
There is loads of capacity at Ruislip depot for extra trains - the place is massive!
