w00t.
It will be interesting to see if the London Rail roundel colours are adopted as a branding exercise for the NLL stations - that alone would be a significant leap forward in the eyes of Londoners, as the Silverlink lines would then be seen as "part" of the Tube, with all of the attendant benefits of such.

Do you think now these extra stations up north are considered part of 'the tube' they will scrap the Met / Bakerloo extensions to Watford Junction?

Hardly - it now makes it possible for TfL to actually implement them, as they would be within TfL's jurisdiction!

Noted last week :- One of the DMU's on the Barking - Gospel Oak service has acquired white roundels with "Transport for London" underneath. Applied on the panels behind the driving cabs, underneath the existing sliverlink "flash". (A touch premature me thinks ) Perhaps Dave will need to add separate sections for the "North London Line" bits now ;D

Great new! I hope that the trains will be replaced by new Electrostars with a more frequent service.

Ugh, not Electrostars - you don't need a 100mph-capable seat-filled commuter train on the NLL. You need a 60mph Big Railway equivalent of a C stock with lots of doors and a high acceleration curve.

Also, while on the subject of the NLL, there are plans to suspend part of it from Canning Town to North Woolwich, and IIRC from reading in a railway magazine, DLR is planned to take-over the tracks. I've always admired the NLL, especialy Camden Road - West Hampstead section. Used to rent a pokey little flat above Hampstead Heath Tunnel. As it was a basement flat and all was quiet on the roads, one could sometimes hear the 313's below... and the occasional freight...

The NLL is going to close from Stratford - North Woolwich, and the DLR extension to city airport, being at most 200 yards away, will take over. The track will most probably be lifted.
In the even longer term, Stratford low level will eventually close and the current junction (Channelsea), where trains go left for the Low Level and right for the GEML will probably be demolished, leaving only the tracks for the GEML, where the NLL will have it's own platforms at the high level station.

Stratford Low Level is already slated to close, AFAICT - the existing platforms will be used by the DLR, and the NLL will run to the High Level station and terminate in one of the high-numbered platforms.
