Somebody who clearly has a lot of time on their hands has produced an alternative tube map using anagrams of the station names . The map can be found at - www.unfortu.net/anagrammap

Absolutely amazing - some are better than others.
But as to time: no! There are downloads on the web now that will produce a full list of every possible anagram from any group of letters entered
Admin comment: not sure if this belongs here, but on the other hand I can't think of a better place to put it.

As has already been stated elsewhere - the joke board is currently under review because some people cannot observe a simple request.

Excellent ;D
Reminds me of the title sequence from 'Fawlty Towers', where the hotel nameboard was changed in each episode!

I may go down to the Sunny Burger restaurant later with a fork I bought from my mate's shop, Tomb Road Forks. I may have a Henna Lager or even a Viper Ale to wash it all down with before going home to Puny Estate, providing the burger doesn't cause me to have Internal Pukes.

Was chatting about this with some friends and one of them came up with the idea of handing out copies to tourists on the tube ;D How well do you think most SAs would cope if someone asked them how to get from Energy Pen Set to Swearword and Ethanol? (Rhythmic & Mismate to Trek Beaters, then the Able Rook) Swearword and Ethanol would make a great parody of Oasis' Cigarettes and Alcohol. Rubber Synod sounds like the name the press would give a meeting of Catholics discussing birth control. Warped Skidoo - an Australian folk band. Robs Koreans sounds like a temping agency supplying illegal imigrants Scouse Mouth sounds like a rather nasty disease Togetherness Thinking is definately a management buzzword With a bit of work you could even make a story of them. In 5 minutes I got as far as: "What stampedes? A Monster?" "No mother, Herb hating Godparent Bikers", he snarled. "Get report translated. Add romance, vinegar Dolly." "Not Ken?" "Swearword & ethanol" ('Yeti Witch!') "Hail Tuna!" "Hail Tuna!" "Dragonfly and Falcon Hire, we bury prank" "Snail salt - No suet, no screws"

Blooming TfL spoilsports: Content removed at the request of Healeys Solicitors acting on behalf of Transport for London and Transport Trading Ltd Just goes to show that if T fL / LUL objects to something, they will take very firm action. This why we (the staff) sometimes urge caution - to prevent it happening to us.

The anagram map is currently still available online in at least one place. I'm not going to give the URL here directly (for obvious reasons). But you may be pleased by the results of a google search.

It appears that TfL have had the site I linked to taken down. If you read the comments here it will explain it all (although this is _not_ from a neutral point of view by any means). Some of the links from that page are now broken, but not all.

There are still places (sites) from which you can get all the silly maps, but they are not UK sites (which is why TfL can't get them!!!!) . Try googling first but not just UK.
