According to the TfL realtime pages, the entire radio system in Zones 1 and 2 appears to have gone completely wrong - services are suspended between White City and Hainault via Newbury Park.
This is the third or fourth time I can remember where the radio system has gone completely sideways - I wonder how long it will be suspended.

AFAIK It has been out since about 0830 and at one point it was the whole line.

I've only been off the Central for a year and it all goes to pot without me ;D But in seriousness in the 4 years I worked on the Central, I can't remember a total communication failure like the ones they've had recently (motors falling off bottom of trains YES, but train radios). I know that radio failures are taken more seriously than a few years back, but it makes you wonder why the equipment isn't being maintained correctly.

I'm just giggling away to myself yet again, at the sad state of things... Yeah, I'm happy not to be stuck in the pipe somewhere...
I just hope it is sorted by the AM start-up... otherwise... KYBOSHED.

It was on the board at Chiswick Park as "Severe delays", presumably to the entire line, but when I interchanged at Mile End it appeared (from the describes) not to be delayed on the eastbound.
I only had to wait 1 minute for an Epping train (following trains were Hainault via Newbury Park and Loughton) and that wasn't late getting into Debden; so if everthing is up the wall for tomorrow's peak I don't think it will be because of this problem!
