What year was it when BR first ran their service from Paddington to Greenford.

Do you mean in recent times?
If so, they extended the Ealing - Greenford DMU shuttle in 1989 I think.

A long long time ago (pre 1916 I think) the GWR operated a circular route, from Paddington, via the Drayton Green loop and the now Central alignment via Hanger Lane back to Paddington. I have this in a book somewhere but cannot find it  |
