At Liverpool St, i've noticed Emma saying this,
This is Liverpool Street, Change here for the Circle,Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan Lines and National Rail Services
I was quite surprised to hear that as normally she says, C,M,H&C

Sounds like it's been updated to me. Noticed it a couple of weeks ago when I went to Oxo Cube Circus

It's noticeable on the approach to Bank now - you can actually hear what she's saying!

At least, at Bank, they have, at last, got rid of the reference to 'Network SouthEast Services'...

I personally preferred janet's voice, it was so much faster and efficient.

The last time I went on a 1992 was around two weeks ago - please don't tell me they've changed the DVA too much - the 1992 version that I last heard was easily the best DVA on the combine! The District Line Emma is very good too, but the Vic and Bakerloo ones sound awful - if the Central one has been changed hope it's still good!!

I know this post of mine is like a year later but yes it is very similar to the bakerloo/vic but is 10 times worse! Alex PS anyone have any clips/recordings of all these previous DVAs?

The Network South East references were removed when they last updated the DVA around 2003. I assume that the latest update includes references to London Overground at Stratford?

Not the other day it didn't I think only some of the trains have been updated so far. The train I was on didn't mention London Overground either!

PS anyone have any clips/recordings of all these previous DVAs? I don't know of any comprehensive examples, but I know the Squarewheels site has an example of Janet Mayo saying "This train terminates at Hainault via Newbury Park". As for Network South East, 91223 was running around with this DVA until just a few months ago. It was pre Jubilee Line extension and also pre Waterloo and City takeover. Bank was announced something like this: "This is Bank, change for the Circle, District and Northern Lines and Network South East services. This train terminates at -------" Liverpool Street made reference to Network South East and Intercity services

The Central DVAs were mentioning National Rail services from Liverpool Street yesterday, and at no time did the driver say that there were no services until January and to change elsewhere.

Also I don't think the 1992's have 'Stand clear of the doors' programmed in either, never heard it, just the T/Op doing it manually.

They don't however instead the equivilent is the destination (IICR). i.e. "This is Gants Hill"......doors are about to close...."This is a central line train to Hainult via Newbury Park"

It seems the 92's are the only stock not to have a 'Mind the Doors' pre - recorded into the DVA list.

The Picc, Northern, Jubilee, and subsurface lines all do not have an auto door message however they have the manual selection which the drive can use. I believe the central line no doubt has this?

Same with Chris - in all the times I've been on them, I've never heard it automated - 'tis a manual PA job.

The 96 Stock does NOT have a mind the doors announcement that the driver can select. However it does have "Change here for Canning Town, West Ham and Stratford and wait on the same platform" or something like that, and "Thank you for travelling on the Jubilee Line"... but no "Mind the Doors" real useful !!! (At least this is how it was a year ago)

For those who say they havn't herd it on the Central please note that it is very rare for such an announcement to be made anyhow. I believe on hearing the Jub doesn't the central and northern no doubt probably dont have the "mind the doors" as a manual option..

The 1995 has about 27 manual pa's compared to the 1996's 9.

Yes your right actually because I heard today it used many a times however it is more of an instruction "mind the doors" : there is no polite 'please' Does the Central Line have any Alights/Exits? I havn't herd any yet. The DVA kept on repeating itself twice as an error once the doors had closed, the last few times I'd been on.
