It was closed on either Friday, Sat or Sunday because of flooding caused by the sudden heavy rain and a reported sewage smell. It was closed again for most of yesterday because there was sewage in one of the circulating areas i am led to believe

The TfL realtime map was saying it was closed "due to a Thames Water sewerage leak" most of yesterday.

I wonder if its that same sewer pipe that crosses Sloane Sq... I think the pipe at Sloane Sq is actually the River Tyburn, not a sewer.

reminds me of how a 42 inch HP water main, burst at Euston, sending water down into the station, and flooding the tunnels, escalator machine rooms etc... Took three weeks to get the water pumped away and everything dried out... I think it occured in the 1960's... remember reading a wonderful article on it...
