Greetings. Signalling Plans have now been circulated for the new underground sidings at White City, 16 sidings alongside each other, although the signalling diagram is divided into 2 fans for space constraints. The sidings will have full signalling and requires its own SER which will be prefixed " WCD " Signal Numbers are in the usual central line sequence following on from the previous highest numbers at Grange Hill. Signals and Track Circuits will be 95xx's Points will be 96xx's the depot inlet signal (which if my reasoning is right will be under the H&C Bridge ) will have 17 routes, 16 for the sidings, and theres another route to enable trains to reverse on the depot road, and to that end, one of the sidings has a shunt signal a short distance away from a train stabled thereon, to enable this to happen. if anyone wants a copy of a diagram, please ask, nicely. Hi all just to let you know there's a good article in Modern Railways on the White City development and all its rail links plus photo's of the new white city underground depot...

Hmmm, yes I did see that article.
Glad they've decided to keep the old CLR Power House!

Just a though but isn't it strange that a descision wasnt taken to iron out a curve or two on the westbound track as it passes through the site.
Taking advantage of the space available which at the begining would be a blank canvas giving a vital oppurtunity to improve the notoriuos snaking route to White City ....

I would be very surprised if it were a blank canvas! I don't think such a thing would exist on any large development in London.

The term of blank canvas meaning that this site is being re developed and consideration could have been made.
This would allow the first and possibly last opportunity to improve the west bound route from shepherds bush to white city easing the very tight curves.

The tightest curve between Shephard's Bush and White City WB is the Caxton Curve, which is in deep level tunnels, and not in the development site anyway.
