At 15.30, from Epping heading to W Ruislip: This driver is, IMO, the model for all drivers on LUL - Communicative, sounds happy ( ) and would appear to like his job. Shame I had to get off at Lancaster Gate - he did his bit on the PA at a few stations before (Think it was Bank: ''Change here for [all the lines], and alight here for the Tate Gallery, and the Barbican is a short walk away..... Stand clear [of the doors] please.'' Great stuff ;D ;D

LU move customers from A to B, they used to do it via 'C'.

It's nice when customers pick up on good customer care rather than just the times that they feel let down. If you have the time/inclination you should let LU customer services know, particularly as you have the train details for them to be able to trace the Train Operator.

That sort of feedback from a passenger does (sometimes) get back to us "on the ground".
I was once told I had to see the TOM by the DMT when I booked on; he didn't know why. Thinking I was going to get a bollocking for something I couldn't even remember, I nervously went to see him and it turned out he wanted to give me a gift voucher, because a passenger had phoned in to say how much they appreciated my PAs!

Recently i went to see the ag1, [admin] when the gsm [group station manager] walked in and said could i see him straightaway. I started to think what have i done, but he wanted to congratulate me for my high standard of customer service [obviously he was deluded!] and he showed me a letter a customer had wrote praising me. The customer had also bought me a box of chocolates, which being the idiot i am, i shared them amongst my colleagues.

No joe, have been an sa for 3 years now. I applied for a control room assistant position earlier this year and got it . Sadly i am on a waiting list, so it could be weeks months or even years before I start it. Waiting to hear back from hr regarding my t/op application, which would be my ideal job.

The normal course of action is for the Customer Service personnel to contact the relevant DMT's office. The DMT will then investigate the report to try and ascertain which driver the report is referring to. If the DMT manages to identify the driver they will either speak to them directly and file a report accordingly or if appropriate speak to the TOM and let them deal with it. Locating the right driver can be quite a difficult task. I once got a report from Customer Services for a Circle line driver and all I had to go on was a car number. To make matters worse the incident occured quite late in the evening so you know the train had been reformed several times. I did find him though and he got a Silver Award, which was nice to arrange.

Well, in that case, I can't have been much help then, me only giving the time, place, date, and train number (and ultimate destination)

Nothing wrong with ultimate. Just like the pen-ultimate destination on that branch would be Ruislip Gardens.
