If I want to get from Stratford to Epping, will I have to take the bus ?
I presume not, seeing as I'm not going to travel through Newbury Park, although I am obviously going through Leytonstone....
Any help?
(My question is: can I do Stratford > Epping, purely by the train)
Cheers lads
Joe

How is this service actually running? On the EB platforms all it says is Hainault via Woodford,I assume some trains carry on past Hainault back to the City and West End,but do some trains reverse at Newbury Pk and go back to town via Woodford?

They do a 'circuit' if thats the right word. It's described as Hainault via Woodford to avoid confusing the punters. When the train reaches Hainault, the destination will change on the dot matrix platform monitors, and the T/Op will also do same.

<Snip> I assume some trains carry on past Hainault back to the City and West End,but do some trains reverse at Newbury Pk and go back to town via Woodford? Greetings The correct answer is BOTH, to provide an inner rail service at Newbury Pk-Hainault, every other train goes to Newbury Pk on the outer rail, reverses in the platform and back through the siding and out the other end to Barkingside and back to Central London via Hainault & Wooford.
