I recently read on the cravens website that in august 2006 they are planning to run their 1960 unit, along with the 1938 unit from the lt museum on shuttles between loughton and epping. the central line will terminate at loughton. plans are at an early stage so it might not happen.  |

Not Central Line related, but they may try to run a Cravens tour to reach Shoreditch before it shuts, if its allowed.

Thanks soultrain i didnt know that, i always seem to miss their railtours, usually work commitments or finding out too late. Hopefullly it will go ahead.

This page (near the bottom, do a page search for 150) that was last updated on the 11th of May seems to suggest it is still happening (altohugh that item might not have been updated or checked on the 11th, it does talk about "this summer"), but the page is not official at all. The Loughton and District Historical Society talk of "preliminary arrangements" in the January/February 2006 newsletter. Google knows nothing else about it as far as I can tell
