I'm interested in what duties are like, could I assume that (if based at WC for example) they are like this:
WC - WR - EPP - WC
MR
WC - LIVST - WC - LIVST - WC - LIVST - WC
FINISH
As a fair representation, also are there any 'wierd and wonderfuls' on the Central?

There arent any scheduled reversers at LIVST anymore [unless due to engineering works]; the facility remains available in case of emergency. Generally, but not always, you cover the whole line at least three times a week. Depends also if you have chosen to work all the early shifts, or all the lates, etc. Maximum continuous time driving is 4h15m, then you must have a break of at least 30 minutes. Usually get around 45-50 on average. If you finish at say, WER, and pick up again at LES after break, you get what could be best described as a travel time allowance. I'll PM you some duties, including some odd ones...

West Ruislip - Leytonstone? I thought you'd always finish/start at the same place. That's a lot of travelling

West Ruislip - Leytonstone? I thought you'd always finish/start at the same place. That's a lot of travelling Most of the time you finish and pick up again in the same place. Theres the occasional travel time between Leytonstone/Hainault, West Rui/White City... WER - LES was *purely* an example. Only ever done that particular one once, and that was when the service was completely up the wall. Also did White City - Leystonstone once, because my 'second half' train was stuck up that end of the line. They'd rather send me to the train, than send the train to me. Logic in that somewhere....
