Whats wrong with the Dot matrix displays at Holborn? They have been out of action for two weeks now. Completely blank screen untill the train is just in the platform then that train appears. Is there a problem with some kind of track pick up or something?

It sounds liek the DMI's have lost their link to the computer, so it reverts to local control. Does the DMI state "Check destination on front of train"?
As for the problem lasting a long time. Historically DMI problems are a nightmare because of the signals interface. So you get this passing of the buck between PPP companies. However, even more interesting, I've been informed that there are issues with the contractors responsible for DMI's on BCV. Which have left many problems unrepaired.

No, the DMIs remain blank until the approaching train has dropped one of the home signal track circuits; then it lights up with the T/D with no timing info and stays that way until the train arrives.

IIRC they were faulty in July, just flashing MIND THE DOORS, and displaying a time of 10.21. I've lost count of the amount of times I've called the FRC to report the damn things.
