Greetings
The eagle eyed of you attending the Crewe Works Open Day last weekend may have noticed a car of 1992 Tube stock up on jacks inside the works, the car numbers were masked over, but subseqent info leads me to think this was either 92257 or 93257, this is the unit from which the traction motor became detached at Chancery Lane,
Subsequently being run over by, and derailing the unit on the rear of the train ( 92001+91001 )
001 has been back in london, and back in service for a few months, and my fleet correspondants tell me that 256 is due back at Ruislip in the next week or so.
