Does the 'please mind the doors' announcement work automatically, or is it driver operated? (on the refurbed C / D i'm talking about). (I'm thinking about the journey on SB's DVDs - from Ealing Common Depot to Edgware Road on the refurbed C) Also, is it just me or, do the beeps go slightly out of time every now and again? (I'm nit picking, I know )

(I'm thinking about the journey on SB's DVDs - from Ealing Common Depot to Edgware Road on the refurbed C) How come your Solidbond DVDs go to and from Edgware Road? Mine don't From Ealing Common Depot to Earl's Court on Disc 1 (Apologies - my mistake !) (From back of box): ''Ealing Broadway to Earl's Court via Ealing Common depot (on a C stock)''

BTW, apart from the stabling (neat that, SB, by the way ), is there anyway to access the night footage that's on in the background on the main menu of Disc 1? (if there is, I don't know how!)

Yes: click on top middle (in the space) Goes from Barking (I think) to Upney. There is a similar top-middle hidden bit on disc 2

On the C stock, if my memeory serves me right, you press "3" on the keypad and sonia says "Mind the Doors". On the Refurb D its a bit more complicted, but basically the same principle.

My DVD remote can't access it..... The only thing I've got other than the set routes (Upminster - ECT etc.) is the little circle thing on the right, which is going from a depot. Any ideas how to access it ?

Just one thing to add... After pressing 'enter', sit and wait for twenty minutes until she finally say 'mind the doors'!! ;D It's a lot easier (and quicker) to simply pick up the PA handset!!

I was on a C stock on the north side of the circle not too long back, and for about four stations in a row (Edware Rad to Euston Square I think), Sonia was saying "mind the doors" after they'd finished closing!

This was discussed in a previous thread, but I haven't got time now to find it (work bekons ;D) - yes, a C stock will finish it's announcements even if the doors are closed, whereas a D stock will stop as soon as the doors close button is pressed.

Barking-upney is the bit on the menu screen of disc1. The extra (UPM depot to stn) is either prog 6 on selector, or to the right of the bottom three. For disc 2, prog 6 (or top middle: go to bottom middle then slect 'up') is UPM stabling and menu screen is Barking sidings to Stn
