After duty today, i go for a quick run down to Kennington. Comes off the s/b Bank platform and wanders upstairs, out down the road to see my mate. Comes back a bit later and decide for a change to go down to Stockwell and up to Kings Cross. I'm waiting on the s/b bank again, and I just miss one train. This gets to near Oval. All is just about silent, I can hear this ringing noise coming from down the tunnel. Must be a signalphone thinks I. Never found out if it was. Looks at Signal Post Telephone list I somehow acquired from years back, and there's a phone on B23 signal; the outlet from the siding or on the n/b at the junction between City and Cx branch, B31a signal.
