I was on a D-Stock today and noticed a poster detailing the closure of the Dist/Picc west of Earls Court over a few weekends - nothing odd in that, of course.
The poster contained an image of some plant with bolster which was multicoloured to represent each line on LUL. Again, nothing odd in that.
What did grab my attention was the sequencing of the colours - At the top was Brown (Bakerloo) then Red (Central) and so on - each colour placed alphabetically in order of the line it represents.
I don't know who got paid to think that up, but I for one think it's brilliant - I wonder how many others have noticed?
So subtle and good is the artwork, that the dates of the closures have gone from memory already....

There's a whole series of posters showing bits of plant coloured like that, but I wasn't sad clever enough to notice that the colours were in alphabetical order of line!
